Mr. Gay World welcomes gay men who are prepared to represent their country with purpose, professionalism, authenticity, and commitment.
In countries with an official Mr. Gay World National Director, candidates should apply through their recognized national organization or official national selection process.
If your country currently has no official Mr. Gay World National Director, you may contact the international organization directly. Our team will review your inquiry and advise you regarding the available process for representation, eligibility, and participation.
Becoming a Mr. Gay World candidate is not simply about entering an international pageant. You will be representing:

Mr. Gay World is built through the collaboration of National Directors, delegates, titleholders, partners, advocacy organizations, host destinations, and communities from around the world.
Every country brings something different to Mr. Gay World. Different cultures. Different LGBTQIA+ experiences. Different challenges. Different approaches to advocacy. Different stories.
The role of the international organization is not to erase those differences. It is to create a global platform where they can be represented.
GLOBAL FRANCHISE NETWORK
Mr. Gay World operates internationally through its network of official National Directors and franchise holders. A National Director is responsible for developing and representing the official Mr. Gay World organization within his or her licensed territory.
National Directors may organize a national competition or approved selection process, develop national advocacy initiatives, build partnerships, promote the Mr. Gay World brand, prepare their official delegate, and participate in the international organization.
Becoming a National Director is not an employment position. It is an official franchise and licensing opportunity within the Mr. Gay World international network.

Mr. Gay World welcomes proposals from destinations, tourism organizations, government agencies, producers, event organizations, franchise holders, and qualified partners interested in hosting an international edition of Mr. Gay World.
Hosting Mr. Gay World brings delegates, National Directors, international guests, media, partners, and LGBTQIA+ communities together in one destination.
A host country becomes more than the location of an international pageant. It becomes part of the history and global identity of Mr. Gay World.
